Happy Birthday Ginger!

Ginger brings her own sunshine to the day. Pretty much always in a good mood. She has her moments. She loves everyone and loves to call everyone her BFF. She doesn't like to see anyone sad or lonely

She loves to draw, color, do her homework, dress up, and sing.

This year Ginger got glasses because a lazy eye that she has. Both of her eyes are weak, one more than the other. She has also been patching her good eye for a few hours a day to strengthen the weak one.

Ginger also lost her first tooth that a dentist didn't pull. When she was 2 she chipped and bruised her two front teeth and had to have them pulled. So with her starting to lose some teeth, that means that her other ones should be coming in soon. We can't wait to see Ginger again with front teeth.

We are so blessed to have Ginger in our family and love her dearly.

This just in...

...I am not Mother of the Year. Poor Liza got to my flat iron and burnt her thumb pretty bad. I just feel sick. It doesn't seem to be to painful for her. She did it Friday afternoon and it is still blistered. I just hope it stays blistered and doesn't pop. I think it will hurt her more if it does pop.

Swimming

We took the kids swimming a week ago Saturday which was a lot of fun. Liza didn't like it much at all. She did okay as long as David or I held her tightly. The kids swam for 3 1/2 hours straight and could have gone longer but it was closing.

They were so wasted in the end. But happy!

Judge Thatcher

On the 28th of Jan., Carson was in the 6th grade play at school. He portrayed Judge Thatcher in a rendition of "Tom Sawyer". He was Tom's love interest, Becky Tatcher's father. I love the mustache. It didn't last through the whole play though.
Everyone was great though. I have a little video below but have not listened to it yet because our computer's sound card is not working. Anyway if it is bad let me know. I only got that little bit of the play because we are ordering a dvd of it.

Mitch Cudney, Carson, and Spencer Rawlins
Carson and his prize leis after the play. He was an excellent judge! It was nice to have Aunt Gina, Uncle Duncan, Chloe and Charlotte, Grammy, Aunt Nancy, Uncle Kevin, Heidi(a friend of the family),Aunt Diannah, and David there to cheer him on. And not to mention his siblings. David was able to make it down to see it which was a treat. He has been working out of state but that is another post that will come soon.

Happy Birthday George!

Happy Birthday Mr. George!

George is turning 9, I can't believe it. He was 4 months old when we left Odgen after David's graduation from Weber State.
George loves to play video games, play the piano, and read when he has the right book. He has learned how fun it is to have neighbor boys to play with. Other places we lived we didn't have very many neighbors and some of those were wild animals.
George is a momma's boy. He always has a kiss for me.
He also loves to spend time with his dad and Carson. Just recently they all went shooting, along with Papa and Uncle Duncan. George had really good aim.
It is so neat to see how each of your children are different. George is more in the sensitive side but he also has a bit of a temper. We love him very much and are happy to have him in our family.

Happy Birthday Callie!

Happy Birthday Miss Callie!

Callie is growing up so fast. She turns 11 today.
Callie start reading the Nancy Drew series about 3 weeks ago and is starting the 7th book. It is usually Carson's nose that is plastered in a book but it is good to see Callie so excited. She had to skip the 6th book for now because her friend had already checked it out of the library.
She enjoys having her mom as her Activity day leader and almost done with her Faith in God achievement. Its neat to see her develop into a young woman.
Callie loves to mommy her baby sister, Liza. She is so helpful with her, Lucy, and Ginger. Callie is a wonderful big sister and such a good example for them all to follow.
She is a great blessing to have in our family and we love her immensely.

We are done!

The ads for the Thanksgiving paper. That was the biggest we had done. All the ads for black Friday.

George working on bagging the papers!

Again, I have an understanding for some hard workers in this world; newspaper carriers! Between semesters of college I worked as a server and learned how hard servers really work. I also learned what a good server does and I will tip a good server well.

Since Aug. 5 of last year we have been delivering 3 different newspapers to our neighborhood. David or I would get up about 2am and go to a depot to get the papers, there we would stuff inserts(ads) and bag them. During the week we averaged about 235 papers daily and on Sunday it is was about 350.
We are grateful for the experience but so glad we are done. Now onto our next adventure.
