We had a nice Thanksgiving at my parents house. I made the turkey this year which I was really nervous about doing. It turned out pretty good. I had heard of stuffing pats of butter under the skin of the breasts so I tried it. It was really juicy. All the other food was delicious as always.
Our plates were not big enough and after a while neither were our bellies.
Liza got a nice bump on her head from falling off Papa and Grammy's bed. Ouch!
Callie was an angel in our wards nativity scene. They asked her two days before and she was all over it. She had her costume picked out and started practicing the three songs she sang almost immediately.
With the student council she has been doing announcements in the morning to open the day. I love hearing her try to come up with some signing off phrases like, "Have a holly jolly Wednesday!"
Carson recieved his 2nd class and 1st class ranking in Scouts. He has had some really good leaders here that have helped him along. One being his dad. He also has worked hard this fall to get his swimming merit badge.

On Saturday we went to temple square to see the lights. We met Aunt Nancy and Uncle Kevin there. It was nice to spend time with them. It was really crowded and busy in Salt Lake City that night. The was a Jazz game and the Mormon Tabernacle choir's annual Christmas concert. Next year we'll plan a little better. I love this nativity scene on the reflection pool by the temple. It was so crowded from the front view, we took the picture from here.
For the past 4 months we have watched Ginger's eyes turn inward at times. Its worse when she is tired. My grandmother had a lazy eye since she was little and David's sister also wore glasses for it when she was little. One of Carson's eyes had also done that at about the same age. He got glasses and eventually grew out of it. Ginger's a bit worse. One eye is 80/20 and the other is 40/20. So Ginger got her new glasses yesterday. She has been so, so, so excited to get them. That didn't last long. She was ready to take them off after a couple hours. She is doing well at keeping them on though. One thing is that it magnifies her eyes so her naturally big eyes are even bigger now, but still so beautiful!
