Happy Halloween!

We have Callie as a Gypsy, George as a serious racketball player, Lucy as a BYU cheerleader, and Ginger as a ghost queen.
Liza had no costume because she doesn't know anything about the holiday except for all the bowls of candy.  Carson didn't have a costume either because he felt was too old for it.
For celebration we went to a Trunk or Treat at our church on Saturday.  Callie went to a friends house for a party last night where she had fun.  And tonight we'll hang out as a family, play games, and get sick off of candy.

Pizza time!

Making pizza's at Grandpa and Grandma's bakery in Oregon.  This was in April.  Our other computer is still down so we are getting caught up with all the pictures I have on David's laptop.

Yes, this is Grandpa's BMW.  He bought it used a couple of years ago.

We made pizza's with Uncle Tony(Daivd's brother), Aunt Nichole, and her three children,

A man of many talents

In April of 2009, we were living with my parents at the time, my dad began his post mission retirement by putting some stairs on the side of my parents front porch.  He built the frame and mixed the cement.  He really did mix some, I just had to put a picture of David in.

There he is mixing later in the evening.  Sorry my camera lens was dirty.  There was a lot of dust flying.

Diannah helped out some too.

Not realizing how much cement it took to finish it we had to wait till the morning to get the last few bags of cement.

The next day when The Home Depot was open for more cement.

That made it possible for Nancy to be a helper.

They turned out really nice.  I don't have a picture of them all finished.  I guess you'll have to visit my folks to check them out.  They always love company.  :)

George's homework

George was asked by his teacher to elaborate a little bit more on his first sentence.  Hmm...I wonder why?  You might have to click on the picture to read it better.

Summer 09

During the summer of 2009 we enrolled the kids in a kick boxing class.  I really liked their instructor.  Here are a few pictures I took.

Tandi Schaeffer was their instructor.  She was also in our stake at church.

King Arthur's Quest

This past week our elementary school welcomed the Missoula Children's Theater.  This fall we did "King Arthur's Quest".  In the spring they will return and do "Pinochio".
Anyway, I made Callie, George, Ginger, and Lucy audition, which they did this past Monday.  Right after auditions they announced who made in the play.  Callie was cast as the Damsel in distress #4, Ginger was the mini white knight and Lucy was the mini white squire.  They did a mini cast to of the older kids to make the giant and dragon look bigger on the stage.  They didn't allow any pictures during the play so I don't have any of them in action.

The whole cast.

The mini cast.  Ginger is the 5th one in and Lucy is in front of her sitting down.  Ginger gave the dragon a band-aid in the play and said a little line.  Lucy gave the giant a glass of milk and said a little line.

The Damsels in distress.  Callie is in the red.  The damsels ran around screaming and said some lines.
Here are my stars.  Nice mustache and goatee, Ginger and Lucy.

George

Here is George on our way to Aunt Nancy's wedding in Manti.  I can't remember why he was crying, I just think the picture is funny.  And then his quick recovery.

Lucy's photos from our photo shoot this past January.  She is such a character.  And Gina did such a great job on the photos.
