Our weekend

The 3rd grade gave a musical performance on Wednesday. It was all about the Solar System. They had these special t-shirts made. I didn't get any still pictures but I got some video footage of the program. Callie is so good at performing. She always has a smile on her face.

This weekend we went to San Francisco again. David had some meetings on Friday so we took the kids out of school for Thursday and Friday. Thursday we traveled down then met the owner of the company and another one of David's bosses for dinner. We really enjoy being a part of this company. Its small but its good that way. Friday, the kids got caught up on the Disney channel. Later that day, Callie and I went store hopping. We don't get that opportunity where we live. Callie found a really cute dress for $8.00. On Saturday, we decided to visit the Jelly Belly factory. They have free tours and you get a little snack to take home. The kids really enjoyed it. The factory has 2lb. bags of irregular jelly beans for $8.00 a bag and when you buy two you get one free so we bought three bags.
Outside front of the Jelly Belly factory.

We are having fun mixing flavors and trying to find our favorites.

Poser!
After the Jelly Belly factory we went to find a Korean Restaurant. Korean food is a favorite in our family. Everyone eats it really well. There is always safe foods for the kids but they seem to eat what we eat.
Ginger ready to use her chopsticks to eat some japjae(some transparent noodles with vegetables and meat).
So much to eat, so little time! The dish close to Callie's hand is a kimchi pancake(spicy fermented cabbage). The large bowl next to the cup is a soup with everything in it. It had hot dogs, spam, ramen noodles, tofu, different vegetables, and of course kimchi. I really liked it. It was David's first meal in the Korea. Next to all that are different side dishes.
A mouth full of Pulgogi(bar-b-qued beef you eat with lettuce leaves, rice, bean paste, and kimchi). Now that's a mouth full!
A mouth full of Kimchi. Spicy!!

On Sunday we attended sacrament meeting in ward near Dublin, CA then we hit the road to go home. It is always such a blessing to make it home safely from a long trip.
