Ginger is the first to break a bone in our family. Tuesdays are our busy days running Carson and Callie to choir then later on to piano with George. Ginger had a friend's birthday party at a park as well yesterday. I came to pick her up at the end and was sitting in the car talking to David watching Ginger swing with a friend. I look over just in time to see her fall from the swing. She could tell she was falling so she tried to hang on with her right hand and then falling to put all her weight on her left. I quickly got off the phone and ran to her. I could tell it was swelling right away. Kerry, the birthday girl's mother, got some ice for her. For the next hour Ginger cried and kept that ice straight on it. David was heading into town so I waited for him and also for the urgent care to open after 5pm. David took Ginger while I took the other kids home after piano.
She broke her ulna a little below the elbow. She is going to get a cast on Monday and will stay in a brace and sling till then.

Poor little Ginger. Oh and look at that face. Get better soon Ginger. If we were there we'd LOVE to sign the cast. Dang it!
